Mbalageti Safari Lodge: all the details.
Communication: Mbalageti Safari Lodge has a central phone and international calls cost 7 dollars per minute.
Ideal length of Stay: 3 to 4 nights.
Special interests: Mbalageti is a great place to stay between June and August, when the wildebeest migration is passing through this area. There is also some good resident animals here for the rest of the year.
Health and Safety: The nearest doctor is at Grumeti Camp about hours' drive
away. Medical air rescue would be called in an emergency.
Child policy: Children over the age of 16 years are welcome at Mbalageti.
Location: Serengeti National Park.
Food: On our last visit (June 2012) there were a couple of live cooking stations where the food is cooked in
front of you – so you know its fresh and hasn't been standing for
hours. There were also spring rolls with various dipping sauces. This
was all followed by a selection of deserts and tea or coffee.
